On 24/2/19 Malta was hit by the most severe storm in recent memory. Wind gusts topped 133 KM/h. This resulted in loss of Internet connectivity for LTO Leasing in the early morning hours. Internet connectivity was restored later in the day, but around 15:00 GMT power was lost.

Our power was restored in the early hours of 25/2, but our server RAID drives needed resyncing which took some 9 hours.

As of 25/2 around 16:00GMT LTO Leasing has been back online.

While we've never experienced an event like this, we are planning to have a backup solution available within the next few weeks, so that in the event of another Internet/Power failure we can switch and be back online within the hour.
